Universal mulchers MULS slim LW

The Tehnos MULS slim LW universal mulchers are designed for mulching smaller lawns and lower vegetation. Their low weight makes them suitable for work with very small tractors, and the smaller rotor uses little energy. As with other Tehnos mulchers with the LW designation, the rotor is electronically balanced and has the patented Low Vib hammer arrangement, which reduces vibration and stress.

The table lists four models: MULS 110 LW, MULS 130 LW, MULS 150 LW and MULS 170 LW, with working widths from 110 to 170 cm. All have 3 belts and run at 540 rpm, and the number of hammers rises from 10 on the narrowest to 16 on the widest model. Weight increases in steps of 20 kg, from 190 kg for the MULS 110 LW to 250 kg for the MULS 170 LW. The narrowest model works with a tractor of 15–35 hp (11–26 kW), while the widest requires 30–50 hp (22–37 kW).

The mulcher has a 12 cm rear support and adjustable working height, and for small working widths a Category 1 or 1N hitch is available as an option. Compared with the related MUL light LW series, which goes up to 220 cm, 470 kg and 80 hp and has a 540/1000 rpm drive, the MULS slim LW is the narrower and lighter choice for smaller areas and less powerful tractors.
