Field mulchers MPL light LW

The Tehnos MPL light LW field mulchers are designed primarily for mulching cereals and maize stalks, grassland, sunflower and other crops for green manuring or cutting. The housing is more open, allowing a faster flow of mulched material.

The MPL 250 LW and MPL 280 LW work at widths of 250 and 280 cm, at 540 rpm, with 4 belts and a machine offset of 41 cm. The number of hammers and blades is 22/66 and 26/78 respectively, the required tractor power 70–100 hp (51–74 kW) and 80–110 hp (59–81 kW), and the weight 770 and 810 kg.

Equipment includes a support roller, automatic belt tensioning, two types of bolt-on counterweights, mechanical opening and closing of the flap, easily adjustable working height, a self-lubricating skid, a freewheel clutch in the gearbox and a rear hitch. Wheels are offered as accessories, and rubber curtain protection as optional equipment. The rotor is electronically balanced, with the Low Vib hammer arrangement. Compared with the MP profi LW series of the same widths, the MPL is 250 to 298 kg lighter and requires less tractor power. All specifications
