MB profi LW side mulchers

Tehnos MB profi LW side mulchers are for general use in agriculture and are intended for mulching municipal land at angles of +90°/-60°, especially the banks of watercourses, ditches, slopes and meadows, as well as orchards and pastures.

The patented double-hinge design moves and lifts the mulcher simultaneously and evenly when it meets an obstacle, so the machine passes over it, and springs then return it to the working position. The rotor is electronically balanced, with the patented Low Vib (LW) hammer arrangement, which according to the manufacturer reduces vibration, deformation and stress.

The series comprises the MB 170 LW, MB 200 LW and MB 220 LW, with working widths of 170, 200 and 220 cm. All have a machine offset of 150 cm and work at 540 rpm, and they differ in the number of belts (4, 5 and 5), the number of hammers (16, 18 and 20) and their weight of 847, 894 and 926 kg respectively. The required tractor power is 60–90 hp (44–66 kW), 70–100 hp (51–74 kW) and 80–110 hp (59–81 kW), and the minimum tractor weight about 4,000, 4,500 and 5,000 kg.
