MUL light LW universal mulchers

Tehnos MUL light LW universal mulchers are a lighter version of the universal mulcher, designed for mulching all kinds of plant waste. They are used in viticulture, fruit growing, agriculture and municipal work, and wherever a lighter machine suited to smaller tractors is needed. The rotor is electronically balanced, and the patented Low Vib (LW) hammer arrangement reduces vibration, deformation and stress during work.

The series has six models, from the MUL 110 LW to the MUL 220 LW, with working widths of 110, 130, 150, 170, 200 and 220 cm. The number of hammers increases with width, from 10 on the narrowest to 20 on the widest model, and drive is transmitted via 3 to 5 belts, at 540 or 1,000 rpm. The required tractor power ranges from 20–40 hp (15–29 kW) for the MUL 110 LW to 60–80 hp (44–59 kW) for the MUL 220 LW, and the weight from 304 to 470 kg. The machine offset is 28 cm on the narrowest model, 41 cm on the 130 and 150 cm widths and 51 cm on the wider versions.

The working height is easy to adjust, the skid is self-lubricating, and the left and right offset is mechanical. Hydraulic offset, protective rubber curtains and a Category 1 or 1N hitch for small working widths are offered as optional equipment. For smaller tractors, Tehnos also offers the lighter MULS slim LW series, up to 170 cm wide and weighing up to 250 kg. All specifications
