MU profi LW universal mulchers

Tehnos MU profi LW universal mulchers are suitable for a wide range of uses and are robustly built, so they are also designed for difficult working conditions in agriculture, on municipal land and on pastures.

The series has eight working widths, from the MU 130 LW to the MU 300 LW: 130, 150, 170, 200, 220, 250, 280 and 300 cm. The required tractor power rises from 30–50 hp for the narrowest to 110–150 hp for the widest model, and the weight from 451 to 1,006 kg. Models up to 220 cm work at 540 or 1,000 rpm and have 12 to 20 hammers; 9 to 15 knives are also listed for them, offered as optional equipment. Models from 250 cm upwards have 22, 26 and 28 hammers, and their speed is given as (540)1000. The offset is 41 cm for the 130 and 150 cm widths, 51 cm for 170 to 220 cm and 58 cm for the widest models.

The housing is made of double sheet metal, the belt is tensioned automatically, and the machine is shifted left and right mechanically or, optionally, hydraulically. A Category 1 or 1N hitch is available as an option for the small working widths. The rotor is electronically balanced, and the patented Low Vib hammer arrangement allows the rotor to turn faster with a higher hammer tip speed. All specifications
