MBL light LW side mulchers

MBL light LW side mulchers are a lighter version of the Tehnos MB side mulcher, intended for lighter tractors and lower working speeds. They are designed for mulching agricultural and municipal land at angles of +90°/-60°.

The three models, MBL 150 LW, MBL 170 LW and MBL 200 LW, work at widths of 150, 170 and 200 cm, with a machine offset of 140 cm and 540 rpm. The narrowest model has 3 belts and 14 hammers, requires 50–70 hp (37–51 kW) and a tractor weighing about 3,000 kg, while the machine itself weighs 498 kg. The MBL 170 LW has 4 belts, 16 hammers and weighs 528 kg, requiring 55–80 hp and a tractor of about 3,500 kg. The MBL 200 LW, with 4 belts and 18 hammers, weighs 555 kg and requires 65–85 hp and a tractor of about 4,000 kg.

A greater side offset is made possible by a gearbox mounted on the outside of the housing and protected by a sturdy guard. The rotor is electronically balanced and has the patented Low Vib hammer arrangement. Compared with the MB profi LW models, which have an offset of 150 cm and weigh 847 to 926 kg, the MBL is a considerably lighter machine. All specifications
