RS rotary rakes

FPM RS rotary rakes gather cut grass into a windrow. They collect clean material without unwanted impurities such as soil and stones, which gives good-quality fodder, and the swath is neither tangled nor compacted, making baling easier and faster.

The tines have a special shape and geometry and are made of high-quality spring wire, driven by a reliable rotor gearbox. Working height is adjusted by the wheel height and at the rotor head, and a ground-following system adapts the rotor to uneven ground. The rake lays one windrow on the left in the direction of travel, and the working elements are removable.

The series has five models with working widths from 3 to 4.6 m. The smaller RS 300/8 and RS 320/9 have eight or nine arms with three double tines each, work with tractors from 15 kW (20 hp) and run on two wheels, with four as an option. The models marked + (RS 410/11+, RS 430/12+ and RS 460/13+) have 11 to 13 arms with four tines each and four wheels, and need a tractor of 33 to 55 kW (45 to 75 hp). The maximum work rate is 4.8 to 6.9 ha/h and the weight 332 to 786 kg.
