Power harrows RD

FPM RD power harrows are designed for cultivating various soil types. They finely crumble and clean the soil and spread it evenly across the full working width, creating a good seedbed. They are usually used for secondary tillage after ploughing and break up even the most compacted furrows in a single pass.

Vertical working elements cultivate the soil better than blades on a horizontal rotor because they do not create a compacted layer at the bottom of the tilled layer. The blade rotors are driven by a robust gear transmission. Height is set with the roller bracket against the height regulator on the sides of the machine, and movable linkage points and the roller improve ground following. A second machine, such as a seed drill, can be attached so that cultivation and sowing are done in one pass.

The six models have working widths from 1.4 to 3 m, with 7 to 14 rotors and 14 to 28 blades. The rotors run at 320 rpm, the maximum working depth is 26 cm, minimum tractor power ranges from 23 kW (31 hp) to 59 kW (80 hp) and weight from 380 to 1,250 kg. Optional equipment includes a levelling board, a packer or tube (cage) roller and the Hydrolift system.
