The FPM BRD in-row power harrow is designed for work in orchards, primarily for cultivating between trees spaced at least 50 cm apart. It removes grass and does not form a hard layer beneath the worked surface, and thanks to the tilting working head it can work in difficult conditions and on hilly ground.

The working part is a power harrow with four rotors, each with two blades, and the vertical working elements cultivate the soil more effectively. Working depth, up to 15 cm, is set with a two-wheel frame. The side shift of about 50 cm is hydraulic, using a system made up of a tank with filter, pump, control valve and cylinder, and is controlled by an adjustable sensor rod.

The BRD 70/4 has a working width of 65 cm and is mounted on Category I tractors of 30 to 50 hp. The rotors run at 350 rpm at a PTO speed of 540 rpm, the pump is driven directly from the PTO, hydraulic pressure is up to 180 bar, the oil tank holds 20 l and the machine weighs 410 kg.
