Side-shift rotary tillers LF, LPF and SPF

FPM side-shift rotary tillers belong to the lighter class of rotary tillers and are designed for primary and secondary tillage in arable farming, vegetable growing, fruit growing and viticulture. The tiller shifts to the right, so it can work the soil close to plants without the tractor damaging branches, leaves or other parts of the plant. They are built in two classes, B35 (LPF) for lighter and B55 (SPF) for medium-duty conditions, while the LF models are a fixed version without side shift.

Working depth is set with side skids, and the degree of soil crumbling with the position of the rear hood. The rotor is driven through a side transmission with a chain in an oil bath, and the special shape and helical arrangement of the blades crumble the soil efficiently with low energy consumption. Models marked H have hydraulic side shift.

LF and LPF models have working widths from 1.05 to 1.65 m, a rotor diameter of 350 mm including blades running at 231 rpm and a maximum working depth of 18 cm. SPF models from 1.65 to 2.05 m have a 470 mm rotor running at 280 rpm and work up to 20 cm deep, while the SPF 145 has a rotor of the same size as the LPF. Minimum tractor power ranges from 11 kW (15 hp) to 37 kW (50 hp) and weight from 157 to 476 kg.
