The FPM LUM lightweight universal mulcher is designed for versatile use on agricultural land and for maintaining green areas and neglected ground. It shreds individual crop residues and pruning residues in orchards and vineyards, and crushes branches up to 30 mm thick.
The lightweight construction is intended for small farms, weekend properties and parks, so the mulcher can also be mounted on smaller tractors. The mounting frame can be fitted in two positions. The 114 mm rotor is driven from the PTO (540 rpm) through two or three V-belts, and the cutting height is 2–7 cm.
The series comprises three models with working widths of 1.1, 1.3 and 1.5 m for tractors with a minimum power of 11 to 18 kW (15 to 25 hp) and Category I and II linkage. The rotor carries 14 to 20 hammer blades or 42 to 60 Y blades, and the machine weighs 188 to 262 kg.
