LK double cutter bar mowers

FPM LK double cutter bar mowers with two moving cutter bars are rear-mounted tractor mowers for cutting all types of grass, forage crops and medicinal herbs, and for municipal work. They have a high-quality German-made cutter bar (Busatis system) and can work in difficult conditions: in lodged and tangled grass, on damp ground, terrain with molehills and slopes, and in moderate rain.

Both cutter bars move back and forth in opposite directions and cut the plant precisely, like scissors and without tearing, so the plant regenerates and regrows faster. Serrated knives are designed for difficult conditions, and the main bar is made of a special spring steel with high strength and the right flexibility. A set of V-belts transmits power to the cutter bar drive mechanism with a shaft and eccentric plates. The frame has a safety system for automatic release of the cutter bar when it hits an obstacle, and hydraulic lifting is available as an option. The mower works on slopes from −45° to +90°.

The series has six models with working widths from 1.25 to 2.25 m and 32 to 61 knives. The LK 125/2 - 1N is for category 1N tractors and the other models for categories I and II. For the H models (LK 170/2H, LK 190/2H and LK 225/2H) hydraulic lifting is listed as an option. Required tractor power is 18 kW (24 hp) to 25 kW (34 hp), the maximum work rate 1.5 to 3 ha/h at up to 12 km/h and the weight 172 to 255 kg.
