Side mulchers BLM and BM PRO

In addition to general agricultural use, FPM side mulchers are designed for mulching public areas on slopes from +90° to −65°, especially along watercourses, ditches, roads, lawns, orchards and pastures. They work behind or beside the tractor, so they are also used for clearing embankments and canals, and when mulching embankments they can be combined with FPM front-mounted mulchers.

The housing is made of hard, wear-resistant sheet metal, the floating design follows uneven ground, and the electronically balanced rotor with hammer blades runs smoothly with low vibration and minimal deformation. Height is set with a roller, the gearbox with an overrunning clutch is rear-mounted as standard, and the mulcher is moved hydraulically both horizontally and vertically. Hammer blades and counter blades are standard, universal Y blades are optional, and the side transmission uses a set of toothed V-belts with automatic tensioning.

The BM PRO version is intended for intensive work in arable farming, fruit growing and on public areas, for shredding grass and scrub on neglected land and branches up to 5 cm thick. The gearbox is mounted on the outside of the housing under protection, allowing a greater side offset, and a spring-loaded safety mechanism moves the mulcher back instantly when it hits an obstacle so that it can pass over it safely.

The lighter BLM 150 has a working width of 1.5 m, a 114 mm rotor and weighs 360 kg. The BM 160 PRO, BM 180 PRO, BM 200 PRO and BM 250 PRO have working widths from 1.6 to 2.5 m, a 159 mm rotor and weigh 710 to 1,080 kg.
