TE Series tedders

Kubota TE Series rotary tedders, also known as hay turners, spread and turn mown grass so that it dries faster and more evenly. They are intended for farms that make hay, and their working width ranges from 4.60 to 15.6 m. For forming the dried crop into windrows, Kubota offers RA Series rakes.

The mounted models come in CompactLine and ProLine versions with four to ten rotors, and the rotors have five to seven tine arms. The ProLine versions have an enclosed rotor gearbox and Super-C tines. The tedding angle and border tedding are adjusted from the tractor cab, mechanically or hydraulically depending on the model. The rotor wheels are 16x6.5-8.

The smallest, the TE4046, with a working width of 4.60 m and four rotors, weighs 500 kg. The TE8590C and TE10511C, with working widths of 9.00 and 11.20 m, have a carrier frame with transport wheels, and the trailed TE12513C and TE14515C have 12 and 14 rotors, working widths of 13.4 and 15.6 m and weights of up to 3,410 kg. The transport width of all models is less than 3 m.
