SE Series mulchers

Kubota SE Series mulchers shred grass, low vegetation and crop residues such as straw, maize stalks and sunflower stalks. They work with a horizontal rotor driven by a belt drive with three to ten belts. In addition to universal blades, most models can also be fitted with hammer flails, and most also have a rear roller for height control. Skids are standard on all models except the SE9000, where they are optional.

The compact SE1000 models, such as the SE1150 and SE1180 with working widths of 1.5 and 1.8 m, are intended for green areas and specialist crops and require a tractor of 30.4 to 50.7 hp with a 540 rpm PTO. The side-swivelling SE2000 and SE2000P are used for maintaining roads, ditches and hedges, and the SE3000 for orchards and vineyards. The multi-purpose SE4000 and SE6000 can work on the front and rear linkage, the SE5000 only at the rear. Their models SE4280, SE5280 and SE6280 have a working width of 2.80 m and a 540 or 1,000 rpm PTO.

The agricultural mulchers are the SE7000, the SE8000 with wheels and the folding SE9000. The SE9560 has a working width of 5.6 m, weighs 2,400 kg and requires a tractor of 131.8 to 263.6 hp, and the largest working width in the series is 6.4 m.
