Seedbed cultivators

Pre-sowing soil preparation in arable farming is the main task of the Huđik seedbed cultivator, an implement that crumbles, levels and prepares the soil for sowing. The S-tine working elements are arranged in four rows to prevent blockages, and they can be fitted with points, winged points or duckfoot shares of various sizes, with or without a self-sharpening edge. Behind them work a crumbling rotor and double flat-steel rollers, and the Hardox levelling board has an adjustable angle.

The seedbed cultivator is made in working widths from 3 to 6 m, with 28 to 56 S-tines and weights from 1,050 to 2,350 kg. The larger models, from 3.5 to 6 m, have three to four wings that fold hydraulically, so the transport width ranges from 202 to 305 cm depending on the model. The recommended tractor power ranges from 80–100 hp for the 3 m width to 160–180 hp for 6 m, and the working speed is 8–12 km/h. The frames move freely around a horizontal bar and follow the unevenness of the ground, and the depth is adjusted by the frame height.

It shares its working widths, weights and recommended power with the germinator of the same brand, but has fewer S-tines and ends with double rollers, whereas the germinator has a ring roller. All specifications
