The Brantner TA 16045 XXL is a tandem tipper with the same body as the TA 14045 XXL, but with a gross weight of 16,000 kg instead of 13,900 kg and a drawbar load of 2,000 kg. The internal platform dimensions are 4,480 x 2,150/2,250 mm, the sides and extension sides are 600 mm high each, and the loading capacity is 11.8 m³. Unloaded, with standard 500/50-17 (18) wheels, the platform is at a height of 1,100 mm.
The manufacturer's brochure lists two versions. The SPECIAL is lighter, with a net weight of 3,400 kg, and its body is raised by one cylinder with diameters of 75/90/105/120 mm to a height of 1,800 mm; the rear tipping angle is 49°, and 15 l of oil is required. The TA 16045/2 XXL version weighs 3,600 kg and has two cylinders with diameters of 60/75/90/105 mm and a lift height of 1,600 mm, tips to the rear at an angle of 45° and needs 20 l of oil. Both versions tip to the side at an angle of 45°.
The 90 mm square axle and 1,800 mm track width are the same in both versions. Anyone who needs a larger loading space with tandem axles will find the TA20051/2XXL in the same range, with 19.3 m³ and a gross weight of 20,000 kg. All specifications
