Kubota G231 LD

The Kubota G231 LD is a professional mower with a mid-mount deck and a rear grass collector, designed for maintaining parks, sports grounds and larger gardens where grass is cut and collected at once. The LD designation stands for a low dump collector: the 560 l container tips the grass at a low level, which suits work with a container or trailer on the ground.

It is powered by a three-cylinder Kubota D902 diesel engine of 898 cm³ and 22 hp. The hydrostatic transmission (HST) allows up to 19.0 km/h, and cruise control and a differential lock come as standard. The 1,219 mm mower deck is gear-driven, and the cutting height is set with a rotary dial from 25 to 102 mm. The machine dimensions are 3,100 × 1,265 × 2,205 mm, the wheelbase is 1,390 mm and the weight with mower deck and collector, without fuel, is 815 kg, the lowest in the G Series.

The G231 HD version has the same engine and mower deck, but a 640 l collector with dumping at a height of 1,970 mm, a length of 3,345 mm and a weight of 955 kg. The G261 models have a 25 hp engine and a 1,372 mm mower deck, while the G231 LD is narrower, 1,265 instead of 1,420 mm, and 40 kg lighter than the G261 LD. All specifications
