Kubota G231 HD

The Kubota G231 HD differs from the G231 LD in its high-dump grass collector. The 640 l hopper with a weight sensor is raised hydraulically to 1,970 mm, so the cut grass is emptied directly into a trailer or container. This professional mower suits municipal services and contractors who take the collected grass away from the site.

The technical basis is the same as on the LD version: the three-cylinder Kubota D902 diesel engine with a displacement of 898 cm³ and 22 hp, hydrostatic transmission (HST) with a top speed of 19.0 km/h, cruise control and differential lock. The 1,219 mm mower deck has two blades and a gear drive with an electromagnetic clutch, and cuts at a height of 25 to 102 mm. The steering is hydrostatic power steering, the brakes are wet disc brakes, and the fuel tank holds 20 l.

With the larger collector and high dump, the machine is longer and heavier: the length is 3,345 mm instead of 3,100 mm, and the weight without fuel, with mower deck and collector, is 955 kg instead of 815 kg. The width of 1,265 mm, height of 2,205 mm and wheelbase of 1,390 mm are the same as on the G231 LD. For a larger cutting width, the G Series includes the G261 HD, with a 25 hp engine and a 1,372 mm mower deck. All specifications
