Kubota BX261 H R

The Kubota BX261 H R is the more powerful BX Series model with an open operator station and foldable ROPS. The three-cylinder Kubota D1005 engine of 1,001 cm³ develops 25.5 hp (18.8 kW) gross at 3,200 rpm and 19.7 hp at the PTO, giving more reserve for front loaders, brushes and wider mowers. The engine meets the Stage V standard.

The external dimensions and weight are the same as on the BX231 H R: length 2,425 mm, width 1,145 mm, height with ROPS 2,110 mm, wheelbase 1,400 mm and weight 650 kg. The difference is the engine, which on the BX231 H R is the D902 of 898 cm³ and 23.3 hp, so with the same dimensions the BX261 H R has 1.8 hp more at the PTO.

The two-range hydrostatic transmission is controlled by pedal, cruise control is standard, and top speed is 13.5 km/h. Drive is selectable between 2WD and 4WD. The 2,500 rpm mid PTO drives mid-mount mowers, and the 540 rpm rear PTO drives other implements. The Category I rear linkage lifts up to 550 kg, the hydraulic pump delivers 24 l/min and the fuel tank holds 25 l. Ground clearance is 225 mm. All specifications
