Kubota BX231 H R

The Kubota BX231 H R is the smallest model in the BX Series, which includes the smallest Kubota compact tractors in the range. It is intended for the maintenance of lawns, gardens and sports grounds and for lighter municipal work, and turf tyres protect the lawn.

The three-cylinder Kubota D902 diesel engine with a displacement of 898 cm³ develops 23.3 hp (17.1 kW) gross at 3,200 rpm, and 17.9 hp at the PTO. It meets the Stage V standard. The two-range hydrostatic transmission is controlled by a pedal, and cruise control, fitted as standard, makes mowing large areas easier. The top speed is 13.5 km/h, and the drive can be selected between 2WD and 4WD.

The 2,500 rpm mid PTO drives mid-mount mowers, and the 540 rpm rear PTO drives standard implements. The Category I rear linkage lifts up to 550 kg, and the hydraulic pump delivers 24 l/min. With a weight of 650 kg, a width of 1,145 mm and a foldable ROPS, it easily fits through narrow passages and into low garages. The length is 2,425 mm, the wheelbase 1,400 mm and the ground clearance 225 mm. The more powerful BX261 H R has the same dimensions and weight, but a 1,001 cm³ D1005 engine and 25.5 hp, while the BX231 H CAB cab version is 185 kg heavier. All specifications
