Kubota B2261 D R

The Kubota B2261 D R is the most powerful B2 Series model with a manual transmission and suits more demanding municipal and agricultural work when the user wants a simple mechanical transmission. The three-cylinder Kubota diesel engine with E-TVCS combustion has a displacement of 1,261 cm³, larger than on the B2201 D R and B2231 D R, which have 1,123 cm³.

The engine develops 26 hp (19.1 kW) SAE gross, or 23.9 hp to ECE-R24 at 2,500 rpm, and delivers 20.5 hp at the rear PTO. The transmission has 9 forward and 9 reverse speeds, and top speed is 21.35 km/h on agricultural tyres and 20.31 km/h on turf tyres. Four-wheel drive is engaged as needed, and Bi-Speed steering reduces the turning circle.

The Category I rear linkage lifts 970 kg, the pump delivers 18.9 l/min, and the rear and mid PTOs run at 540 and 2,500 rpm. The weight is 760 kg, the wheelbase 1,500 mm and the ground clearance 290 mm on agricultural tyres, the highest among the models with a manual transmission. The permissible front axle load is 880 kg and the rear axle load 1,600 kg. If a hydrostatic transmission is needed with the same power, the series includes the B2261 H R and B2261 H CAB.
