Heavy disc harrows

Price on request

Majevica heavy disc harrows are used for coarse secondary tillage after ploughing, for fine seedbed preparation in spring and for shallow stubble cultivation after harvest.

The front and rear disc gangs are balanced in work, so the harrow holds an even depth across the full working width and leaves a level surface behind it. The serrated discs, 560 mm in diameter, are spaced 202 mm apart, and smooth-edged discs can be fitted to the rear gang on request.

Two models are built. The smaller one has 28 discs, or 32 as an option, with a working width of 2.7 m or 3.1 m and a required tractor power of 59 or 74 kW respectively. The larger model has 40 discs and a 4.2 m working width and requires a 164 kW tractor. Both work at a depth of 12 to 16 cm and a speed of 8 to 12 km/h, with an output of 2 to 4 ha/h.
