The Majevica seedbed cultivator is an implement for spring and autumn seedbed preparation. It is also used for inter-row cultivation of row crops, stubble work, thinning wheat and renewing pastures.
It is attached to the tractor’s three-point linkage. Working depth is set with a threaded spindle that raises and lowers the straight and serrated crumbler rollers, which break up and level the soil. The 3 m model has double crumbler rollers.
It is built in three working widths: 3 m for 65 kW tractors, 4.5 m for 95 kW and 9.1 m for 164 kW. Working speed is 8 to 12 km/h, and output rises with width, from 4 ha/h on the smallest model to 7 to 9 ha/h on the largest.
