Kubota GZD21 HD

The most powerful GZD Series model in the range is the Kubota GZD21 HD, a zero-turn mower with a rear grass collector, intended for municipal services and contractors who need higher mowing output on areas with many obstacles. The three-cylinder Kubota D782 diesel engine with a displacement of 778 cm³ delivers 21 hp, and the hydrostatic transmission (HST) with two steering levers allows turning on the spot and speeds of up to 15.5 km/h forward and 11.5 km/h in reverse.

The 1,220 mm Glide Cut mower deck has three blades and cuts at a height of 25 to 127 mm. The clippings go directly into the 500 l collector, which is raised hydraulically and emptied at a height of 1.80 m, so the grass is tipped into a trailer or container. The weight without fuel is 640 kg, the dimensions are 2,865 × 1,280 × 1,950 mm, and the fuel tank holds 19 l. The wheelbase of 1,285 mm is the same as on the smaller models in the series.

Compared with the GZD15 LD and GZD15 HD, which have a two-cylinder 15 hp engine and a 1,070 mm mower deck, the GZD21 HD mows with a deck 150 mm wider, has a collector 100 l larger and a higher top speed, 15.5 instead of 13.5 km/h.
