Kubota GZD15 HD

The Kubota GZD15 HD is a zero-turn mower with a diesel engine and a rear grass collector, the high dump version in the GZD Series. The 400 l collector is raised hydraulically to a height of 1.80 m, so cut grass is tipped directly into a trailer or container. It suits municipal services that mow smaller, irregular areas and take the grass away, and steering with two levers and turning on the spot make it suitable for parks, cemeteries and yards with many obstacles.

It is powered by a two-cylinder Kubota Z602 diesel engine of 599 cm³ and 15 hp. The hydrostatic transmission (HST) gives up to 13.5 km/h forward and 10 km/h in reverse. The 1,070 mm two-blade Glide Cut mower deck cuts at heights from 25 to 127 mm and sends the clippings through a tunnel directly into the collector. The machine is 2,820 mm long, 1,210 mm wide and 1,930 mm high, the wheelbase is 1,285 mm and the weight without fuel 600 kg.

It differs from the GZD15 LD mainly in the way the collector is emptied: the LD collector empties at a low level and the machine weighs 580 kg, while the HD version with lifting to 1.80 m is 20 kg heavier.
