Majevica pneumatic precision planters sow calibrated and non-calibrated seed of maize, sunflower, soybean, sugar beet and vegetables. The seed plates are changed to suit the crop, and the seed is placed precisely in the row at an even depth of 2 to 8 cm.
They are made of quality materials, and the simple design makes them easy to operate and maintain. The seed boxes hold 40 dm³, the minimum row spacing is 25 cm and the PTO runs at 540 rpm. Front support wheels and rear press wheels are chosen as required.
Two types of seeding unit are offered. With plastic units the planter is built with 4 or 6 rows, and with silumin units with 4, 6, 8 or 12 rows. The 6-row silumin model sows six rows of maize or sugar beet, and the 12-row model 12 rows of maize or 8 rows of sugar beet. Required tractor power rises from 25 kW for the 4-row planters to 80 kW for the 12-row one, weight ranges from 600 to 2,050 kg, and output is 1.2 to 6.3 ha/h at a working speed of 6 to 10 km/h.
