Disc harrows LMHS 12–24 discs

Landforce LMHS mounted disc harrows are offered in seven models, from the LMHS6 with 12 discs to the LMHS12 with 24 discs, the number in the model designation being half the number of discs. All models have 560 x 4.5 mm discs, notched at the front and plain at the rear, a disc spacing of 228 mm and an axle diameter of 34 mm. The hitch is Category II.

Working width increases with the number of discs: 141.5 cm on the LMHS6, then 164, 185, 207, 228.5 and 250 cm, up to 272 cm on the LMHS12. The minimum tractor power increases by 10 hp per model, from 30 hp for the smallest to 90 hp for the largest disc harrow. Weight ranges from 395 kg for the LMHS6 to 740 kg for the LMHS12, so the model can be chosen according to the power of the tractor on the farm.

Within the Landforce range, the disc harrows cover a wider power range than the power harrows, which require 60 to 95 hp. The smallest model, the LMHS6, suits a 30 hp tractor, while the LMHS12 with a working width of 272 cm requires 90 hp, comparable to the power harrow with a working width of 275 cm and a power requirement of 85 to 95 hp.
