ERMO Mistral 300 subsoiler

The ERMO Mistral 300 subsoiler has eleven tines arranged in three rows over a working width of 300 cm. It is intended for loosening the soil and, weighing 1,750 kg, requires a tractor of 150 to 200 hp.

It is made by the Italian company ERMO, which since 1967 has produced only subsoilers and ploughs. Alongside the Mistral 300, the range includes the ERMO Levante 7H subsoiler and ERMO Vari Evolution reversible ploughs, and the manufacturer publishes a list of all models on its website.

The Mistral 300 differs from the Levante 7H mainly in the number of tines: over the same 300 cm width it has eleven tines in three rows, while the Levante 7H has seven. The Mistral 300 is 50 kg heavier, but the lower limit of its required tractor power is lower, 150 instead of 160 hp, and the upper limit is 200 hp, while a range of up to 250 hp is given for the Levante 7H. For the Levante 7H, the manufacturer also gives a working depth of 65 cm. The Vari Evolution ploughs are used for ploughing, and the three-furrow reversible Evolution VE 103H weighs 850 kg and requires a 70 hp tractor. All specifications
